Inside Your Intensive
A Balance of Deep Work and Rest
Your intensive can be many things - what it won’t be is three to six solid hours of relentless trauma talk. Your intentionally engineered experience is centered around your unique nervous system. Each intensive will incorporate grounding, somatic movement, catered breaks, and creative integration based on what you have expressed during your virtual intake.
Sample Intensive Schedule
(Six Hour Option)
-
After you’ve had your initial discovery call and reserved your intensive with a downpayment, we will proceed forward with a traditional clinical intake. Most often, this is completed virtually and lasts 1-1.5 hours. Here, I will begin to learn about you, your history, and your intensive therapy needs and goals. From there, I will develop your own personalized intensive schedule and workbook. Come prepared to have comfortable conversation, developing a strong rapport in a safe space, and sharing parts of your trauma history or any other experience you would like to work on.
-
Gentle, trauma-informed movement, guided meditation, and IFS parts mapping; incorporating bilateral drawing, development of resources (coping skills) and container creation.
-
Focused EMDR target processing paired with expressive art interweaves to bypass cognitive stalls.
-
During a six hour session, I offer a pre-ordered catered meal to go along with your full nervous system break - no trauma talk; just nourishing food and rest.
-
Restorative postures, somatic discharge, installation of positive cognition (if appropriate), and full-system IFS check-in.
-
Body scan, sealing un-processed fragments into physcial or mental containers, and yoga nidra to aid you in further relaxation and grounding before returning back to “life.”
